A Visionary Unicorn: Humans Plant Trees, But
This Clever Unicorn Planted a toybox!
Aubriana’s Toybox is the realization of a young girl’s dream to bring joy and support to children fighting cancer. From the tiniest sprinkle of an idea, Aubriana has nurtured a world of glittering possibilities. You might imagine a team of experts crafting this endeavor — but behind it all is one unicorn’s mighty heart and boundless imagination.
Unicorn Ingenuity
What makes Aubriana’s journey truly magical is the initiative she’s shown at every step.
From dreaming up the idea to organizing, advocating, strategizing, meeting kids, and sharing her story, she has done it all with grace and determination.
It’s a marvel to witness one bright idea grow into a flourishing non-profit — a gift of joy for children in hospitals. Aubriana’s Toybox proves that a single heart, full of love and creativity, can plant the seeds of happiness and nurture them into something extraordinary.

“Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day, someone might do the same for you.”

Letter From Aubriana’s Mother
In December 2019, our fun-loving 7-year-old daughter, Aubriana, was diagnosed with Stage IV brain cancer, Medulloblastoma, an extremely aggressive form of cancer.
An 8-hour emergency surgery removed the tumor, but she woke up unable to move. She had to relearn everything—talking, walking, even feeding herself. She now lives with permanent left-side weakness and facial paralysis due to Posterior Fossa Syndrome. She spent a month in the hospital recovering, missing Christmas, New Year’s, and her birthday. After that, she underwent six weeks of proton radiation, requiring daily trips from Tampa to Orlando, and a year of chemotherapy that left her body exhausted. Aubriana endured 47 rounds of chemo, 10 blood transfusions, and numerous hospital stays.
Ringing The Bell
In March 2021, Aubriana rang the bell marking the end of treatment, but her journey continues.
She has had multiple surgeries, including facial reanimation and eye corrections, and ongoing MRIs and therapy. Despite her resilience, she faces challenges like kids not wanting to be her friend and physical limitations that make it hard to participate in activities.
Her big sister, Abigail, has been her rock, always by her side with love and support.
During Aubriana’s hospital stays, gifts and surprises brought her so much joy and comfort. Inspired by this, she created Aubriana’s Toybox to spread the same happiness to other kids in the hospital.

Kindred Kindness
Following Abigail’s Example, Aubriana has made it her mission to extend a sister’s grace to her kindred fighters of illness.
It’s almost as if Aubriana has adopted children who are ill to be her own little sisters and brothers — and offered them that same “kindred kindness” she learned from her big sister, Abigail.
